Drying

 

This part of the grooming process allows us to further improve the coat condition by ensuring further removal of any loose or dead hair not removed through bathing. We hand dry all dogs with the assistance of a blower whilst combing the coat, making distinction between short and longer haired dogs. Short haired animals will receive a pampering mitten rub down whilst a longer haired dog will receive a complete brush out.

 

Although this takes longer, we believe this process is far superior to “cage drying” as it increases contact and trust with the dog whilst working with the coat for better results.

 

Our dryers are especially quiet and therefore good for dogs with a nervous disposition.
